What is this internet sensation called blogtober you ask?
Ok so I have been on call this week and its been very busy at work. I am finally getting around to the blogtober challenge.
I am late but I am not going to give up yet. So my blogtober starts 10/4/18.
Let me backtrack. Technically, I have been creating contents as I have been posting long posts on Facebook this week.
If at first you don’t succeed, try and try again.
What is Blogtober?
Why take part in blogtober?
Because it sounds like fun. I have always wanted to produce a snip bit content too. So the challenge would be to get this to at least 300 words per post to at least be good for my SEO.
What trick do I employ ?
Well, the best way to survive this, at least for me is to finish up all my drafts which were never published. I might employ series to a particular post to buy time. I might just ramble.
Round up post from other bloggers is another one to pull out of my hat if i get stuck.
Any new thing to expect ?
I have started learning about real estate, commercial real estate in particular, so I would be talking about multiple real estate terms and whatever i learn every day.
Prepare for some random calculations to be involved.
I am having fun reading other random contents online.
Here are the other blogtober list I stole .. cough cough borrowed from Caledonian Kitty
She challenged me on twitter to follow through with my plan.
I am a pulmonary and critical care doctor by day and personal finance blogger/debt slaying ninja by night.
After paying off close to $300,000 in student loan debt in less than 6 months into my real job, I started on a mission to help others achieve the same. There is no magic to this than to strap up and get it done. Some of the ways we achieved this include side hustle, budgeting, great negotiation skills, and geographical arbitrage.
When I was growing up, common knowledge in Nigeria is that there is one thing you cannot trust anyone else with, and you guessed it – your money.
Being frugal came easily to me based on my background. However, the concept of building wealth did not solidify in my mind until when I finished medical school. I wish I knew what I know now when I was 14. Still, I don’t know enough and I am constantly learning to improve my knowledge.
My goal is to reduce financial illiteracy among young professionals. I am catering to the beginners – babies and toddlers in financial literacy.

Best of luck. Writing content (especially worthy content) is quite time consuming (at least for me it is).
My biggest fear, which prevented me from starting a blog for a couple of years, is the fear of running out of content (the well runs dry). Even know I still have tbsg fear in the back of my mind. It would be scary for me to burn through the posts I have already created and stored for future dates in one month (I definitely have enough to do so right now and then some but would put a lot of pressure for later scheduled posting dates).
It amazes me that someone like doc G can write daily. Maybe when I retire from medicine I could accomplish that.

Just got home from work! You are right my friend. I am just hoping to have some fun with not so serious posts this month. I know you.. at least from your blog lol.. You can never run dry. Everytime i check your blog, there is something new. It puts me to shame. I write weekly and so far not too bad. Daily for a long time, and impactful post is very difficult. Another trick I am thinking is to post them for now, and then maybe develop some of the good ones further in the future and update them. Who knows, maybe i’ll cheat and do every other day Blogtober. At the end, it is not a do or die situation. Thanks for stopping by again!! 🙂

That would be advance type of typing and skills to be able to post through your cell phone. However, where there is a will , there is a way. Thanks for stopping by. Let me know how I can help . We are all in this together. We are BLOGGERS! just like SPARTANS.

You all are super human beings. Much respect! I was created a lesser human. I’m just a lazy tortoise and even my once weekly posts is a challenge for me, with all the business of life and work! Ahhh, but at least I will get to enjoy all your posts everyday. Keep typing….

Like you, I see this as a good excuse to really examine my drafts and make a decision about which posts have the type of content I want to put out. Less saving for later more critical thinking. I’m doing Blogtober and wouldn’t mind being included on a list. Thanks for the link from Twitter. Did you read my post?
